Security is a shared responsibility between the platform, administrators, drivers, customers, and service providers. This page explains the security practices built into the website and the responsibilities users must follow to keep accounts and transactions safe.
1. Account and access security
- Passwords are protected using secure password hashing rather than plain-text storage.
- Access is controlled by user roles and permission rules so users only reach authorized areas.
- Session controls, login checks, and route permissions help protect private dashboard pages.
- Users should use strong passwords, log out on shared devices, and never share account access.
2. Form, request, and transaction protection
- Forms use CSRF protection to reduce unauthorized submissions.
- Inputs are validated and output is escaped to reduce injection and cross-site scripting risks.
- Wallet and payout records are logged with references and balances for auditability.
- Important actions are recorded through activity logs, timelines, notifications, and transaction records.
3. Payment and payout safety
Payment callbacks, webhook records, payout references, transaction statuses, and provider responses are stored to help verify payment events and reduce fraud. Wallet credits and withdrawals should only be trusted after the platform verifies the relevant payment, request, or payout workflow.
Users should never share card details, banking passwords, OTPs, PINs, or sensitive credentials through chat, contact forms, phone calls, or unofficial channels.
4. Location, photos, and operational evidence
Where enabled, live location and request photos are used to support pickup coordination, collection evidence, dispute review, and operational security. Location sharing should be enabled only when needed for pickup services and should not be misused by any staff member or driver.
5. Reporting security concerns
- Report suspicious logins, wrong wallet balances, duplicate transactions, fake pickup claims, or unauthorized access immediately.
- Include your name, registered email/phone, request reference, payment reference, screenshot if available, and a clear description of the issue.
- Send reports through the contact page or email support@solidchemicalrecycling.com. For urgent account concerns, call +234 803 310 5622, +234 806 528 0353.
6. Responsible use
Do not test, scan, attack, bypass, overload, or tamper with the website, database, payment flows, location services, wallet, or admin features. Security testing is only allowed with written authorization from the company.
7. User safety checklist
- Use a private email address and a strong password.
- Verify withdrawal account details before submitting payout requests.
- Keep device browsers updated and avoid public devices for wallet transactions.
- Log out when using shared computers or cybercafe systems.
- Contact support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
